Those Gorgeous Clothes...

I find its hard enough saving up for a doll, then you have to think about wigs and eyes and clothes and shoes... maybe their faceup as well if they were ordered without a company one. It never ends, these tiny drains on our resources. You want the best for your dolls, don't you? I'm always at a loss when I look at my dolls and I think, "Hmm... he needs his eyes and wig... and she needs her new wig... and he needs a new wig... they all need clothes..." I feel like it never ends. In the works are Jo Jo's new wig, Kan's new eyes and Chu's new eyes. Of course Chu, Kan and Jaesun all need new wigs as well. And then there's clothes... but of course... I've ordered an SD as well.

Thankfully I ordered Ash with his wig. All I have to worry about are eyes and clothes etc. Usually I'm happy enough buying clothes from Dollmore but then... Crobi themselves have GORGEOUS clothes that I know I want for Ash and Jeremy. Which reminds me, more on Jeremy later... I love 9Ninestyle clothes as well. Last year when I had my first SD, he was completely spoiled. I spent a lot of money on wigs and clothes for him, even bought him jointed hands! I know this time that I can't go completely over the top. I need to consider I have four MSDs that all need to be sorted. Before I go away in August, I would like for them all to have their proper eyes and wigs. Jo Jo is going to have gorgeous dark, long hair. She's supposed to come across as being a bitch and bit girlier now. Then Chu needs pinkish eyes and this bleach-blonde and pink wig I've eyed up from Usagihime. Not to mention the fact I'm waiting on his bunny parts to be shipped. I've spent $200 on them, I hope this work out!

Kan needs new eyes. Glass at the very least. I'm ordering from Captured in Glass to get Kan, Chu & Ash their eyes. He needs a new wig as well, the one he has is really patchy and not well made. I want to get him a lovely fur wig, blonde of course. I don't mind experimenting with the shade a little. And then Jaesun. He has his look pretty much finished. I just need to replace the lost wig -chuckles-. Can't believe I lost his wig!! The perils of traveling on bus!

Well. I've come to terms with the fact I just won't have money in time to get him. I'm being back paid my student grant from this year but it still has to be finalized. So, which lucky sculpt have I chosen for him now? Well, if any of you do any sort of detective work online (come on, we all stalk every once in a while) you would know I mentioned it was another Crobi boy. How could I resist. I had looked at this sculpt time and time again. I had talked myself out of getting him, bouncing from him to Tei over and over again. Finally I had settled on Haz (love at first sight *¬*) but now I know he's perfect for Jeremy. It that darn adorable face!

Yes,Nia is my new Jeremy. Of course, if by a miracle I have everything sorted in time I would still consider getting the limited Lance but at the same time, HE'S SO CUTE *¬* I'll get him without a faceup and comission someone else to do it. I loveeee his faceup but the way Crobi paint his lips is just odd haha. Along with him I hope to order some clothes and his wig too. -squees- I haven't been so excited about this hobby in a long time. Honestly, I -was- excited about getting Chu but there was a damper put on the whole thing that made me sad about getting him as well. But thats in the past and I love him to pieces now! Just need to finish my bunny boy! He'll be needing a new faceup and all.


I love how you can flip-flop so much in this Hobby in the run up to buying a doll haha. I know plenty of people who have made last minute decisions and not regretted them. I'm one of them!


Final Note: I want all the new gorgeous Crobi clothes... and then some  TT__TT -moths fly out of wallet-

So I bought a new doll...

And cause I'm a dork I went onto TinierGoodies.com and made up what Aa Shu (Ash) should look like.

As soon as Crobi released Haz I released two things 1. If that isn't a 'fandoll' of JGS in Mae Ri Stayed Out All Night / Marry Me, Mary! then I don't know what is 2. OMFG I HAVE TO HAVE HIM, ITS A JGS-ESQUE DOLL AND TOTALLY FITS A CHARACTER OF MINEEEE. And thus, I had to have him. How could I not? JGS was my first Korean Ultimate Bias (these be srs business to fangirls) until Seungho came bopping along.I'm actually not one to have characters for dolls already so I tweaked the character in mind (Furuya Hiro) and made him into Aa Shu, my Korean Singer who is breaking into the Japanese market with his latest single. He is MASSIVE in SK. I'll do him a proper bio later. I just... -squees- I can't believe he's on his way to me! My second SD and hopefully this one sticks! HE'S SO FLUFFY I'M GOING TO DIEEE!!

Much spazzing, I apologise. I'm still kinda in shock and realllly sick right now with the cold. So much so, I'm contemplating calling in sick to work. I mean, who wants to be served at a till by someone who is dying? Then again, I need the monies :/ Gah.

Also, Ash's love interest Minyoung should be a AS Kana.... but yeah :/ Me and Clair spent ages looking for the perfect SD girl and Clair showed me Kana. This was now months ago. I need to save better haha. I think it will be a LONG time before I get his girlfriend sorted (his father is convinced he's homosexual due to his long hair...). I am on the lookout for other SD girls who might be perfect with Haz. Minyoung is a tomboy through and through. And one of his biggest fans teehee. Good thing she's so happy go lucky and bubbly, she has to put up with Ash. He happens to be rather moody and unimpressed with a lot of people. He has a sweet side, just takes a while for him to show it...

Ash's korean name is now Shinyu.

He now has a best friend in the limited Crobi sculpt called Jeremy Moon.

Tiny update about Minyoung, Ash's love interest. I've found a second potential sculpt for her so now it's between Angell Studio Kana and Ringdoll Wagashi.

Either way she's my little tomboy fangirl of Ash kekeke. Their relationship won't be easy /derp. Much like Tae Kyung & Mi Nam/Mi Nyeo

I got a nice surprise today to find a PM waiting for me about a MNM I joined before Christmas!!

Finally they have all the slots filled up and well... I had honestly forgotten about it >.>;; Luckily, they won't start the order for a long time -phew- and I have time to save up my £60 -chuckles- Should be easy enough to gather up after I pay for Chu's parts! However, I did express I wouldn't have it before May (since my Loan comes in then I can fall back on it, if I don't have enough saved!). So, this MNM of mine is being made into a girl me thinks (I need more girls apparently? no harm if it doesn't work out - he can remain a he then). I will build a female character for this head but pick out male and female names! Hmm~~ This is exciting!

I still find myself amused that I managed to forget I had joined a MNM order!! OTL I've always wanted a MNM head and finally found a.... source material I loved and wanted a part of.

A small update! I'm am collectively saving for Shunsuke (DZ Mo3 in Tan) as the final member of ROMEO EFFECT and Aa Shu (Ash) a Crobidoll Haz - my first (technically 2nd) SD boy!! My wantums are too much to ignore now! I LOVE Haz's look and he reminds me of Jane Geun Suk's character from Mae Ri Stayed Out All Night! Which, I really have to watch. Oh and JGS was in You're Beautiful too >.>

Shunsuke will be a completely new character for his role but Aa Shu is a combination of a AJOO character I had (Lee Shinho) and a Jang Geun Suk character I had (Furuya Hiro). SO EXCITED!! 

Wish me luck! I have a little box to keep money in and a spreadsheet all worked out! Hopefully I can start saving now even though I have Chu's parts to pay off (First payment sent!)

Update!!

I finally finished Chu's biography!

Also did his face up today. I live streamed it and a few friends watched. At least I only took 2h50m this time and not 4h+ like yesterday. Considering it was my fifth ever faceup, I think I've come a long way since my first (I have pictures somewhere on my facebook I think...). I know I still have to work on eyebrows and eyelashes but I'm rather proud of my blushing and shading. I think my eye liner is pretty spot on too. Still, there is a long way to go before I can offer my services to other collectors. I can't wait for the day I can offer free faceups! To me its the first step!

Which reminds me, I really need to start making bracelets and other dolly jewellery to sell like I had originally intended. It would be nice to start making a little money from this hobby haha. My resin crew need a lot of things and money doesn't come from nowhere! 

I'm totally looking forward to Sunday (27th) as me and Clair are having a meetup together! -happy dances- We have so many things planned to do, its ridiculous haha. I can't wait! I can't wait! Hope its a nice day for us!

I'll Back Off so You can Live Better

Aish! I'm sorry! I haven't been updating here much have I? >.< Aigoo~ Need to get into a good blogging habit (and it seems I take the notion in the middle of doing an essay for University haah). I suppose I haven't been blogging much because I never have anything interesting to update with. Well, not stuff people would be interested in. I'm mostly concentrated on University stuff and taking on extra shifts at work so I can do a number of things: 1. Go to a Dolly meet soon 2. Clear my paypal :/ for some reason its in a negative balance. Oh well 3. Pay a bit off my credit card 4. Save for my new doll 5. Save for Dolly clothes!

However, I've joined in a dolly swap and dolly pen pal stuff so I'll be super busy. I love having a hobby that lets me incorporate a lot of other things I'm passionate about! I love writing letters. Its such a thrill to know people like receiving them as much as I do. Also, with the swap I have everything planned out how I want the top to look and I'm just waiting for Friday Afternoon or Sunday to roll around so I can have a go at finally making something. I'll be making a tester top for Jo Jo first! Luckily my Granny has... so... much... material O.O its crazy!!

Omo, I've rambled a lot. I just wanted to post a quick update so you wouldn't think I had given up already!

Ikuta Satoshi is a notorious oyabun of a yakuza family and his wife Maki is a famous tea ceremony hostess. They own a large family compound with many buildings and rooms for various members of the 'family'. This includes now ROMEO♥EFFECT members and members of the Yakuza. Satsoshi is a fearless leader who has a heart of gold and takes pride in the care of which he looks after everyone in his home. He is very easy going and open minded - never once encouraging his children to be anything other than what they are.

Koji is the oldest child born to his parents. After him, his twin sisters Hana and Nana were born. After them came Seiji. However, despite the large age difference between the older three and Seiji they get along brilliantly. Koji was always a curious and caring child, however he was always dressed as a girl from a young age. This mostly came from his mother's love of the cute kimono and dresses that she could get for Koji and well... no one thought anything of it. It shaped him into the cross dressing adult he is today.

Meeting Kan was an experience Koji would never forget. Despite his small and docile appearence, behind this lies a killing machine - literally. He is trained in various forms of combat and is more than capable of looking after himself. There is one downfall for Ikuta Koji - CAKEUUUUUU!! Any sweet food at all and he is like putty in your palm. He became best friends with Kan and they later joined the MVM company together. Koji insisted that if they were signed together they would have to be in a group together. 

He debuted in July 2009 as part of Romeo Effect and hasn't looked back since!

Chu is sugary sweet and often called a princess - even though this apparent 'she' is in fact a 'he'. Loving and caring, Chu likes to spoil people and treat them to all sorts of goodies. He's forever buying things that he can send to friends or hand out to some lucky fans at concerts. He's outgoing and blunt - but innocently so. Chu doesn't really have a voice in the back of his mind that can stop him from saying some things. He just doesn't know if its inappropriate for current company. He was never any good at reading a situation. It is just his sense of humour. Chu has always been a girly-girl, since his mother always dressed him as a girl. She had always wanted a girl and well, Chu was there! Chu is openly homosexual though he can find it hard to admit his feelings to people if he likes them (happily taken atm!). 

What else could we say about Chu? He likes to fight for justice and doesn't like to see a friend in trouble. At all. He is quick to fight for you if he believes the other person is in the wrong. He also suffers from nyctalopia (night blindness) which means anywhere ROMEO♥EFFECT are has to be well lit - be it bus, building, concert etc.
