And it'll get super cold here for winter. We're expected the snow to stay until March, when winter is long done. So whatever. I can live with that. Snow is awesome right? And well, it makes for pretty BJD related pictures. Which is awesome! Cause, this means I can take Ash outside. Which is sort of awesome although I'm still super wary of other people and their reactions to Ash. I've had my fair share of weird experiences with people - some awesomely positive and some scarringly negetive. It's a shame since... well... it's my hobby and it doesn't hurt other people but... sometimes they take it upon themselves to remark on it in a way that's hurtful.
ANYWAYS! I took him outside, along with my friend Anton, and took some pictures of him. I took over fifty pictures but I managed to skim this down to a nice 18. I'll post them all here, a few on Flickr and then cross post to Angel-Unlimited. The UK BJD forum I happen to be on. I might also add a few to the Omaha group as well. I feel bad posting so many pictures of Ash there but he's my only doll I have here... so far ;D
So Ash got a new hoodie recently (like he needs it) and it's gorgeous. I commissioned kuroi~carousel from DOA to make him one of her standard hoodies but with a fur trim. I finally got around to taking some pictures of him in it today so enjoy the selection under the read more. I'd just like to mention how wonderful kruoi~carousel is and her clothing is amazing quality. Simply wonderful.

So really this is a tiny post to say, I have a new dolly planned and hopefully I'll be able to buy him in the next few days. I found him second hand on the marketplace! If not, I'll end up buying him brand new from the company in January but... I'd rather have the second hand doll. He's in perfect confidition. So hopefully I can bring Yuya home! I'll reveal more about him once he's here (or if I have to buy him brand new, once he is on order!).
So I skipped an update or two, but I have a good reason. I've been really busy with school work before the holiday and then of course, the holiday itsself. I'm talking about Thanksgiving of course! I'll be the first the admit, not being American, I felt kinda weird celebrating their holiday with them. However, they were welcoming and I'm especially grateful to my I-PAL and his family - they allowed me into their home on this special day. Something that astounded me was the importance put on the night of Thanksgiving and the next day - Black Friday. Well, Americans seem to like a good bargin! I didn't take part in this bit of the holiday.
I didn't get any pictures of the time spent with the Munger family, but I did take over 140 pictures on the day me and Kimiko spent in Lincoln together. There were a few things she wanted to do and I was more than happy to accompany her! We have a lot of fun even though it was a really cold and windy day. In the evening we went to a lovely Japanese restaurant and then we went to see J. Edgar Hoover at the pictures. This is a movie I would encourage you to see. It was simply wonderful and DiCaprio is an amazing actor.

Yes. Bokeh. That wonderful word that describes the blurry background your lens creates when focusing on the foreground. So I recently [read: Monday] got some filter zoom lens for my camera. I was curious about these through stumbling across other doll related stuff. Someone else mentioned using them and I checked them out. Being pleased with what I saw, I skipped over the ebay and got myself a set for 4 for little over $10. Free shipping. Happy days! About time I had another BJD post right? Damn straight. I feel as though it's been far too long since the last time I took pictures of Ash. I still don't want to take him outside and take pictures, alone, since I don't know how other people will react to him. To the people I've exposed him to - thank you. You've been gracious in how you've um... handled it? I suppose that is a good way to put it. At least, if you didn't like him you've been nice about it. I can appreciate that it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. I get that, trust me. But I do adore BJDs and I love showing them off.

I know I haven't posted the pictures I promised but I want to get this out of the way before I forget and then never post about it ever. I had a lot of fun at Nebraskon. I was surprised that I knew a lot more cosplays than I ever thought I would. Honestly, Anime and Manga aren't my focus when it comes to Asian stuffs. That being said, my Manga/Manhwa collection isn't something to be sniffed at - I guess I'm just not as serious about it as some people are.
Still, it just an amazing experience and I'm grateful to Alex and Nick for taking me along. I am considering going to another one when I go home and perhaps also to one in Texas if Merry feels up to it. Anyways, I was really shy when it came to taking pictures. I pretty much took pictures at the first event we went to which was the chess game. It was hard since people were moving a lot and I thought my camera was on a different setting for that - it wasn't. Lots of blurry pictures. Also at first I felt a little odd. All these people were dressed up and I was bopping around in 'civilian' clothing (to make me sound a lot more cooler than I was). Eventually I gave up on the whole pictures thing and just stuck to carrying Ash around. Which made sure I bumped into BJD people!

So I had to buy Thumbs Up. I did. I really did. And so... I did. I bought it and a few other things from YesAsia. Luckily at the same time Boyfriend were releasing their new minialbum (which I got an autographed version of) and then to get free shipping I bought a K-Drama. It all fell into place nicely there, didn't it? Shame the exchange rate for Sterling to Dollars is screwing me over at the moment. The exchange isn't as good as it was earlier in the year. Ah well. I have a video edited to show off what I got and I plan to take a few pictures tomorrow when the daylight is still around. I left it a little late today unfortunately, woops. Sorry about that.

Thank you so much for all these page views! When I first started my blog I never thought I would have such a loyal and consistent readership. For that I'm truly thankful. Since coming to America my posts have been few and far between. I'm hoping with the new month (hello November!) I will be more consistent. So a few students from back home are doing a really interesting project with fire, photography and film. I just wanted to share their teaser video for their upcoming stuff so other people can get a taste of what us crazy Interactive Media Arts students do for fun. As far as I'm aware, they've been doing this for a while - going out and doing their fire performances and taking some amazing photography. I've seen some of their stuff floating around the internet and I'm intrigued to see more.

It's always nice to keep in touch with old classmates and see what they're coming up with as they continue their studies. Sam and Lance are bought final year students at the University of Ulster in Coleraine and Interactive Media Arts is an exciting course!
It's been far too long since my last update. I'd like to pretend that for once, yes I was being lazy but nope! I've been so busy with school work and trying to get on top of things here in Nebraska. I've been very social and not really taking time to be extremely active online. If you have me added on facebook you'll get snippets and updates on what has been going on there. If not, I'll try and take the time to update something here but for now I want to talk about music. In particular ...2? No... 4? CDs I have. Truthfully, three are the same CD (thanks for that SM Ent) of SHINee's Japanese release of LUCIFER (all three editions). I've already done a slapdash box opening for youtube but I wanted to take some nice pictures and update my blog for you lovely people. Also, GoEun's mother was kind enough to purchase and send to her Kara's 2nd album STEP (Special edition no less!), so I've taken a few pictures of it as well. I wanted to test out my macro zoom lens some, since I have it, and so there are a few pictures taken with it.
Yes! You heard right! I'm now 21 and therefore can do all the crazy things many american freshman dream of doing... but I can do cause I'm old and not a freshman - ha! My birthday was amazing. I can't even express how awesome and crazy and beautiful and amazing and everything else it was. People here are amazing and lovely and aaah! I'm just so overwhelmed with happiness and I can't believe how awesome it all was. Tonight I'm heading to a Nerd themed frat party so that should be INSANE but for now I have a few pictures of what my room looked like. Yes, I kept mentioning this on twitter and facebook and finally I have pictures.
All pictures are taken from the morning after since there were so many people in my room and I didn't get a chance to whip out the camera and snap pictures of everything. I'll try and swipe from others on Facebook and share them on my wall there.
So today in the mail I got plushies I had custom made. One for myself of Junno and the other of Joon from MBLAQ's Oh Yeah era for my biffleface Merry. They arrived within two days of being shipped and the overall cost for them together was good. Including shipping, I'm extremely pleased. The person who made them, Summer, is incredibly lovely and amazing to work with. She's truly a wonderful person who deserves ever customer she gets - not to mention how fast she is! So I've always admired the teeshirts that come from threadless and recently I decided - heck, why not order a few? This turned into ordering three $10 teeshirts! I'm super happy with them, with Threadless, and with the fact I got these teeshirts the last day they were on sale. I'm pretty sure all of them are back up to $15-20 - something like that. Woo woo! I'm glad I finally took that plunge and there is more pictures of the other teeshirts I got under the read more. A few webcam shots and then some actually taken with my camera to show details etc. The one pictured here is probably my favourite - I've wanted it for a while...

I'm always on Twitter or Facebook (being more active on Facebook as a lot of internationals are on there). I haven't had a chance to take pictures of Ash and I'm a little wary about taking him outside. Omaha is too far away to make regular meets there but I should still try and integrate with the doll community there - after all, I'm living in Nebraska for a while!
Ah Nebraska, I was supposed to keep a blog on that as well but... nothing significant ever happens for me to blog about it. I'm just a normal girl going to class everyday. I'm studying Feminism Theories, East Asian History, Japanese language and then Japanese Culture too. I actually have a quiz to study for E.Asian History but oh look, I'm on here blogging instead. There was a poster sake today as well so I bought a Japan one (same as I have at home!) and a doctor who one.

I was staring at him today thinking, damn, I haven't taken photos of anyone in a lonngggg time. I feel superbad for neglecting them in this way, I don't mean to though. Sometimes life carries you away and time just goes on. Ever get that feeling? I seem to always make plans for all these wonderful things I'll do over the summer and before you know it half of August is gone and you've no idea what you have to show for it. Aside from preparing for America and everything that goes with that, I can't say I've really do anything productive with my summer. I've done plenty of little things - joined BNATION / became moderator, became somewhat Tumblr famous (craycray tumblr people, I don't even...) and just generally little things that don't impact the bigger picture.

Yesterday was the 8th day of the 8th month! And that's a pretty big thing for Kanjani8 fans haha. Cause we're all about the eights. It's our day to celebrate our wonderful group! I’m a relatively new fan. We’re talking… a month? Less than that even. I have yet to watch a concert or see everything they’ve done but… wow, these seven (prior eight) guys have meant so much to me this pass less-than-a-month. It’s ridiculous, but they’ve made me feel better about myself and my future. Their music has been the first thing I turned to when I was sad and it’s easy to say I’ll keep them with me for the rest of my days. I’ve come to see Shibutani Subaru as my favourite and then Yokoyama Yu as my second but I adore every single member in the group! It’s hard knowing such wonderful people and not loving every one right? Teehee. So yeah. I wanted to do my little bit for them and this should be posted at midnight my time meaning, HAPPY EIGHT DAY!!
Aaah! Why did they take so long to arrive? Not to mention customs made me pay £11.71! Seriously? And £8 was the handling fee from parcelforce. Okay, normally I don't care about this sort of thing but this is the first time I've gotten it on items that weren't doll related. Oh well, they've been paid because I want my items. -mutters something under breath-

Eight is a pretty important number right now. I leave for Nebraska in eight days. Eight day is on Monday. Kanjani8! Um. Yeah, okay it's not that important and that is pretty much everything I can think of related to that number. Aside from the fact it is a lucky number for me. But wait! What? Eight days until you leave for Nebraska? I can hear you say. Yup! A big ole fat eight! Scary close right! I've never travelled so far by myself before, it's enough to induce several panic attacks. Haven't packed yet and I have so much left to sort out before I fly away for good (or until May next year...).
Saturday was my last day at work and it was kinda sad to leave. I didn't shed any tears and I didn't feel an overwhelming amount of sadness but at the same time, it had to be sad... right? I've worked there for so long and I really felt part of the 'family'. More about the future and some pictures and other random updates beyond the read more!
After complaining about not blogging on twitter and then reading Claudia's post, I realised that some of us don't update a lot during the summer. Even looking at my archives, I blogged more during May than any other time. Maybe because I just used it as a coping mechanism (I prefer that term than procrastination~). Regardless, this has turned into a blog where I talk less about myself and more about things I buy. This shows two things about me, I hate talking about myself and I think the stuff I buy says more about me than I could myself. Wow. Mouthful.
I put this under KPOP/JPOP since its a Kpop group making their Japanese debut and trying their hand at Jpop - which is completely different from the slick and polished look of Kpop. A lot of groups aren't even successful at this unless they are super good at Japanese, their song is completely original or if a remake, it's fucking fantastic. I think SHINee works with remaking Replay simply because SM have put a lot of effort into the video/promotion and their Japanese is pretty good (from what I know haha).
So naturally being a shawol, I bought both editions of their Japanese REPLAY -kimi wa boku ni dake no everything- album. This included a limited edition and then a deluxe limited edition. One came with a postcard, the other with a photocard and the deluxe edition had a hard cover plus some extra photos.
Simply because it has a HD camera... and when I'm feeling super lazy and can't be bothered to use my DSLR to take pictures, I have this camera! Haha. I've been feeling lazy rather a lot lately, simply because I'm working a lot more at my part-time job!
Anyway, I've gotten some new stuff since the last time I posted and also I finally finished Hanayome to Papa. I've going to take a moment to talk about that since Junnosuke acted in that drama haha. Well. That ending. Tears were shed - a lot. It was so bittersweet and beautiful, and her father was loyal to himself to the end haha. I loved the song he sang, which featured in the drama a lot. I need to hunt it down for my iPod now. Ishihara Satomi played Aiko beautifully as well. I went through the whole process of Yay Seiji & Aiko > No No No No ;A; > Bugger off evil mother!! > YAY MARRIAGE!! > WTF?! ;A; Aiko what are you doing?! > FFS EVIL FATHER GTFO!!! > YAY MARRIAGE!!

I didn't want to write Manga and Manhwa in the title so MG represents Japanese comics and MH represents Korean comics. I don't want to clutter my titles but I want people to know what the post is about... and it's pretty self explanatory right now haha. In the future, I'll use MH and MG also.
So instead of splitting it into a million tiny posts, I thought I would talk about all of this in one post. As well as being a Jpop/Kpop fangirl and collecting BJDs - two other passions I have are for manga/manhwa and films. Mostly I would watch foreign films, so... pretty much everything I have to show here is World Cinema or Anime (Studio Ghibli). I'm so close to completely my Studio Ghibli collection. I have the core DVDs from the recognised Studio Ghibli collection. There are plenty more associated films out there that I'd love to have as well. Unfortunately, since my brother has taken my Xbox I haven't had a chance to watch many... well, what are Macs for, eh?
Okay. let's completely ignore the fact that Parcelforce made me pay £42.34 for something I already owned. I'm not welcoming anyone posting here about how I should fight Parcelforce for the money. In my views, even though I'm not happy, Ash's head DID get to me safely. He was insured for $200 for a reason. That aside, I shall proceed to gush over the gorgeous that is my doll. Meggilu did a FANASTIC job. His teeth are so cute! So I couldn't take him out today for pictures, which is disappointing, but I was able to take a few indoor pictures. I find it hard to vary my photograph locations sometimes... yes, even in a big house like this one!
I'll post pictures under the cut and also will be posting a second blog post after this one to show off some KAT-TUN items that came in the post for me and also some DVDs! I find that variety is nice when it comes to blogging and I'm happy to see how my blog has developed over the past few months from being solely about BJDs to incorporating more hobbies I enjoy!
Also, it never ceases to amaze me how many pictures I would take... and end up with only five or six good ones to show off... but I also love this! I'm rather fussy about my photography and so it takes me a while to choose what I like. I'd like to think I am getting better though...
Hi guys sorry I haven't updated much. Actually, A LOT has happened since I last blogged. I got my macbook pro, Ash is coming back now from his faceup with Meggilu and I got more CDs! -rejoices- Part of which is also Clair's birthday present which I now need to wrap. I'm totally going to make a video of that to prove to her that I wrap presents myself muwhaha. I've also gotten a load more DVDs. So once I watch a few of the Asian ones, I'll make a post/video about those!
So I make box opening videos of CDs I get. It's kinda a 'thing' that started between me and David (twitter friend) after we found out people actually make box openings of... well... everything! It surprised me! I honestly thought it was just a BJD thing. So in the videos posted behind the read more cut thing, I have me opening two parcels of Kpop CDs, going through and talking a bit about Kpop. I love movies. Really LOVE movies. I have quite a collection (well, nothing impressive but yeah...) and a few people now have asked me to consider posting about films I have on my blog. Mostly it was for Asian film and Disney film! Hahah. I'm happy to oblige during the summer to just talk about my favourite movies and what sort of films I like. Today in the post I received a movie! Hence why I'm typing about this right now. I love, love, love Studio Ghibli films. Miyazaki can always weave magic into any story. Truly, he is gifted. I am only seven films short of completing my Studio Ghibli collection!
I got some fantastic news today that my finance was finally sorted. This has been something of an ongoing battle over the past two years and finally its all smoothed out. I had been talking with a friend about getting another SD sized doll if my grant allows for it and I written in the left side bar which on I'm getting (and in various posts before!). I just thought I would take this opportunity to talk about his character history and where the idea of his character came from - that sort of thing.
Today some stuff I had ordered from Ebay had arrived for Ash. I highly reccommend that you that a look at what mybayer2008 as I find anything I buy is always of high quality and the prices are reasonable as well. I've ordered both SD and MSD sized clothing (for Ash, my old Kanguk & my MNF). Fitting is always perfect and the material is lovely. I've never had a bad experience with this. This time around I ordered SD jeans for Ash as he badly needs his own trousers as well as two pairs of glass eyes. I intend to have the blue ones for Ash but bought another pair for a future SD boy (although I will try them in Ash as well and if I prefer them, he'll keep them.)
I know these are on my Flickr. And I know I posted them on Den of Angels too. People are curious about Haz and to be honest, I'm confused as to why there aren't a lot more of these guys running around Den of Angels. Just me? The only other Haz owner I know of is someone I found on dA (though I'm pretty sure she has a DOA account?). There certainly ARE more of him somewhere. Since he was released as a limited doll to begin with and well... he obviously sold out... Anyways. When people are looking for various photographs of sculpt and poses and stuff... I obviously have no idea what they want and take a million pictures of the same thing. Yes, he still doesn't have a faceup. He'll be sent away for his faceup soon... I hope...
Well I took about 19 photos today because a lot of people ask to see this sculpt, especially since he is blank at the moment. He'll be packed up after this into a shipping box.
I finally got to finish opening my Haz. The wait was bareable! I was so surprised! I expected I would be clawing the walls haha. I was working twelve hours on Saturday so I supposed that help to pass the time. I also doodled him on a scrap receipt nearer the end of my shift.
I've just put Haz into my SD doll carrier -squees- and he's ready to be opened on Sunday with my doll friends. I can NOT state enough how amazing a company Crobidoll are. Not only did Haz ship within two weeks, they also sent a little surprise along with Haz (something I didn't expect. At all. Omfg, I love it so so much).

So Chu's parts arrived today! I was so excited to finally get them and now... I'm not so sure. Alright, I know they were never going to be a perfect fit but now I have them... I'm kinda scared to mod them. What if I do it wrong? I've never modded anything like this before! Of course, I had bought a yo-sd forever and an age ago to mod (a DollFamily doll) which I did. But that was facial mods and nothing on this scale. Plus, I paid rather a lot just for legs. So I'm stuck with the dilemma of modding or selling on.
The postman was nice to me today and my Jdrama DVDs were delivered! Finally I can finish Hanayome to Papa! I actually have a copy of the drama dvds already but unfortunately the second disk doesn't work so I'm not able to watch it. Of course this is disappointing and its taken me a long time to get around to replacing them. Unfortunately (I know...) with this copy, the casing seems to have broken in transit and so I might stick the dvds from this copy into the other cover... Okay... More under the cut haha.
It's SHINee's third year since debut! I can't believe it! Times flies so quickly. My time as a shawol (SHINee fan; comes from SHINee World and pronounced as SHA Wol) isn't as long, only two years next month! I find it amazing that the Taemin Cheering Towel I ordered arrived today as well! More pictures under the cut!
After only nine days of waiting, my first second SD boy is on his way home. Holycrap Crobidoll that's amazing. Including weekends I've still only waited 13 days! Usually it would take a company 20 to 40 days to ship [unless there is a back log etc]. Wow. Just wow. I need to buy him some clothes, stat!
I'm a massive Junno fan -points to animated gifs of Prince Junnosuke in the side bar- so I take it very seriously trying to get Junno merchandise and had a little splurge to myself today. Yup, you read it. This is one post that isn't doll related. I wouldn't say its connected to another hobby, since I don't think of myself as much as part of a hobby there than in the fandom. Its to do with Jpop and Kpop! Since this might not interest a lot of people I'll shove it under a cut. There are pictures and everything!
I find its hard enough saving up for a doll, then you have to think about wigs and eyes and clothes and shoes... maybe their faceup as well if they were ordered without a company one. It never ends, these tiny drains on our resources. You want the best for your dolls, don't you? I'm always at a loss when I look at my dolls and I think, "Hmm... he needs his eyes and wig... and she needs her new wig... and he needs a new wig... they all need clothes..." I feel like it never ends. In the works are Jo Jo's new wig, Kan's new eyes and Chu's new eyes. Of course Chu, Kan and Jaesun all need new wigs as well. And then there's clothes... but of course... I've ordered an SD as well.
Thankfully I ordered Ash with his wig. All I have to worry about are eyes and clothes etc. Usually I'm happy enough buying clothes from Dollmore but then... Crobi themselves have GORGEOUS clothes that I know I want for Ash and Jeremy. Which reminds me, more on Jeremy later... I love 9Ninestyle clothes as well. Last year when I had my first SD, he was completely spoiled. I spent a lot of money on wigs and clothes for him, even bought him jointed hands! I know this time that I can't go completely over the top. I need to consider I have four MSDs that all need to be sorted. Before I go away in August, I would like for them all to have their proper eyes and wigs. Jo Jo is going to have gorgeous dark, long hair. She's supposed to come across as being a bitch and bit girlier now. Then Chu needs pinkish eyes and this bleach-blonde and pink wig I've eyed up from Usagihime. Not to mention the fact I'm waiting on his bunny parts to be shipped. I've spent $200 on them, I hope this work out!
Kan needs new eyes. Glass at the very least. I'm ordering from Captured in Glass to get Kan, Chu & Ash their eyes. He needs a new wig as well, the one he has is really patchy and not well made. I want to get him a lovely fur wig, blonde of course. I don't mind experimenting with the shade a little. And then Jaesun. He has his look pretty much finished. I just need to replace the lost wig -chuckles-. Can't believe I lost his wig!! The perils of traveling on bus!

Well. I've come to terms with the fact I just won't have money in time to get him. I'm being back paid my student grant from this year but it still has to be finalized. So, which lucky sculpt have I chosen for him now? Well, if any of you do any sort of detective work online (come on, we all stalk every once in a while) you would know I mentioned it was another Crobi boy. How could I resist. I had looked at this sculpt time and time again. I had talked myself out of getting him, bouncing from him to Tei over and over again. Finally I had settled on Haz (love at first sight *¬*) but now I know he's perfect for Jeremy. It that darn adorable face!
Yes,Nia is my new Jeremy. Of course, if by a miracle I have everything sorted in time I would still consider getting the limited Lance but at the same time, HE'S SO CUTE *¬* I'll get him without a faceup and comission someone else to do it. I loveeee his faceup but the way Crobi paint his lips is just odd haha. Along with him I hope to order some clothes and his wig too. -squees- I haven't been so excited about this hobby in a long time. Honestly, I -was- excited about getting Chu but there was a damper put on the whole thing that made me sad about getting him as well. But thats in the past and I love him to pieces now! Just need to finish my bunny boy! He'll be needing a new faceup and all.
I love how you can flip-flop so much in this Hobby in the run up to buying a doll haha. I know plenty of people who have made last minute decisions and not regretted them. I'm one of them!

As soon as Crobi released Haz I released two things 1. If that isn't a 'fandoll' of JGS in Mae Ri Stayed Out All Night / Marry Me, Mary! then I don't know what is 2. OMFG I HAVE TO HAVE HIM, ITS A JGS-ESQUE DOLL AND TOTALLY FITS A CHARACTER OF MINEEEE. And thus, I had to have him. How could I not? JGS was my first Korean Ultimate Bias (these be srs business to fangirls) until Seungho came bopping along.I'm actually not one to have characters for dolls already so I tweaked the character in mind (Furuya Hiro) and made him into Aa Shu, my Korean Singer who is breaking into the Japanese market with his latest single. He is MASSIVE in SK. I'll do him a proper bio later. I just... -squees- I can't believe he's on his way to me! My second SD and hopefully this one sticks! HE'S SO FLUFFY I'M GOING TO DIEEE!!
Much spazzing, I apologise. I'm still kinda in shock and realllly sick right now with the cold. So much so, I'm contemplating calling in sick to work. I mean, who wants to be served at a till by someone who is dying? Then again, I need the monies :/ Gah.
Also, Ash's love interest Minyoung should be a AS Kana.... but yeah :/ Me and Clair spent ages looking for the perfect SD girl and Clair showed me Kana. This was now months ago. I need to save better haha. I think it will be a LONG time before I get his girlfriend sorted (his father is convinced he's homosexual due to his long hair...). I am on the lookout for other SD girls who might be perfect with Haz. Minyoung is a tomboy through and through. And one of his biggest fans teehee. Good thing she's so happy go lucky and bubbly, she has to put up with Ash. He happens to be rather moody and unimpressed with a lot of people. He has a sweet side, just takes a while for him to show it...

I got a nice surprise today to find a PM waiting for me about a MNM I joined before Christmas!!
Finally they have all the slots filled up and well... I had honestly forgotten about it >.>;; Luckily, they won't start the order for a long time -phew- and I have time to save up my £60 -chuckles- Should be easy enough to gather up after I pay for Chu's parts! However, I did express I wouldn't have it before May (since my Loan comes in then I can fall back on it, if I don't have enough saved!). So, this MNM of mine is being made into a girl me thinks (I need more girls apparently? no harm if it doesn't work out - he can remain a he then). I will build a female character for this head but pick out male and female names! Hmm~~ This is exciting!

A small update! I'm am collectively saving for Shunsuke (DZ Mo3 in Tan) as the final member of ROMEO EFFECT and Aa Shu (Ash) a Crobidoll Haz - my first (technically 2nd) SD boy!! My wantums are too much to ignore now! I LOVE Haz's look and he reminds me of Jane Geun Suk's character from Mae Ri Stayed Out All Night! Which, I really have to watch. Oh and JGS was in You're Beautiful too >.>
Shunsuke will be a completely new character for his role but Aa Shu is a combination of a AJOO character I had (Lee Shinho) and a Jang Geun Suk character I had (Furuya Hiro). SO EXCITED!!
Wish me luck! I have a little box to keep money in and a spreadsheet all worked out! Hopefully I can start saving now even though I have Chu's parts to pay off (First payment sent!)
Also did his face up today. I live streamed it and a few friends watched. At least I only took 2h50m this time and not 4h+ like yesterday. Considering it was my fifth ever faceup, I think I've come a long way since my first (I have pictures somewhere on my facebook I think...). I know I still have to work on eyebrows and eyelashes but I'm rather proud of my blushing and shading. I think my eye liner is pretty spot on too. Still, there is a long way to go before I can offer my services to other collectors. I can't wait for the day I can offer free faceups! To me its the first step!
Which reminds me, I really need to start making bracelets and other dolly jewellery to sell like I had originally intended. It would be nice to start making a little money from this hobby haha. My resin crew need a lot of things and money doesn't come from nowhere! I'm totally looking forward to Sunday (27th) as me and Clair are having a meetup together! -happy dances- We have so many things planned to do, its ridiculous haha. I can't wait! I can't wait! Hope its a nice day for us!

Aish! I'm sorry! I haven't been updating here much have I? >.< Aigoo~ Need to get into a good blogging habit (and it seems I take the notion in the middle of doing an essay for University haah). I suppose I haven't been blogging much because I never have anything interesting to update with. Well, not stuff people would be interested in. I'm mostly concentrated on University stuff and taking on extra shifts at work so I can do a number of things: 1. Go to a Dolly meet soon 2. Clear my paypal :/ for some reason its in a negative balance. Oh well 3. Pay a bit off my credit card 4. Save for my new doll 5. Save for Dolly clothes!
However, I've joined in a dolly swap and dolly pen pal stuff so I'll be super busy. I love having a hobby that lets me incorporate a lot of other things I'm passionate about! I love writing letters. Its such a thrill to know people like receiving them as much as I do. Also, with the swap I have everything planned out how I want the top to look and I'm just waiting for Friday Afternoon or Sunday to roll around so I can have a go at finally making something. I'll be making a tester top for Jo Jo first! Luckily my Granny has... so... much... material O.O its crazy!!

Ikuta Satoshi is a notorious oyabun of a yakuza family and his wife Maki is a famous tea ceremony hostess. They own a large family compound with many buildings and rooms for various members of the 'family'. This includes now ROMEO♥EFFECT members and members of the Yakuza. Satsoshi is a fearless leader who has a heart of gold and takes pride in the care of which he looks after everyone in his home. He is very easy going and open minded - never once encouraging his children to be anything other than what they are.
Koji is the oldest child born to his parents. After him, his twin sisters Hana and Nana were born. After them came Seiji. However, despite the large age difference between the older three and Seiji they get along brilliantly. Koji was always a curious and caring child, however he was always dressed as a girl from a young age. This mostly came from his mother's love of the cute kimono and dresses that she could get for Koji and well... no one thought anything of it. It shaped him into the cross dressing adult he is today.
Meeting Kan was an experience Koji would never forget. Despite his small and docile appearence, behind this lies a killing machine - literally. He is trained in various forms of combat and is more than capable of looking after himself. There is one downfall for Ikuta Koji - CAKEUUUUUU!! Any sweet food at all and he is like putty in your palm. He became best friends with Kan and they later joined the MVM company together. Koji insisted that if they were signed together they would have to be in a group together.
He debuted in July 2009 as part of Romeo Effect and hasn't looked back since!

Overall Personality: Chu is sugary sweet and often called a princess - even though this apparent 'she' is in fact a 'he'. Loving and caring, Chu likes to spoil people and treat them to all sorts of goodies. He's forever buying things that he can send to friends or hand out to some lucky fans at concerts. He's outgoing and blunt - but innocently so. Chu doesn't really have a voice in the back of his mind that can stop him from saying some things. He just doesn't know if its inappropriate for current company. He was never any good at reading a situation. It is just his sense of humour. Chu has always been a girly-girl, since his mother always dressed him as a girl. She had always wanted a girl and well, Chu was there! Chu is openly homosexual though he can find it hard to admit his feelings to people if he likes them (happily taken atm!).
What else could we say about Chu? He likes to fight for justice and doesn't like to see a friend in trouble. At all. He is quick to fight for you if he believes the other person is in the wrong. He also suffers from nyctalopia (night blindness) which means anywhere ROMEO♥EFFECT are has to be well lit - be it bus, building, concert etc.
